Our client (t/o c$70m) is part of a major US group. It has a suite of products that are ideal for a wide range of multi-site applications which includes banking/finance, commercial, retail, managed services, utilities and telecommunications.

Working in a matrix management structure within the larger group, this is a new role reporting into the Managing Director.

The Role:

  • Research the customer environment in order to understand the issues and opportunities for the business.
  • Build relationships with the key players in the major customer accounts and determine sales strategy with communication tailored for each stakeholder.
  • Manage sales activities by ensuring related activities gain customer commitment, build momentum and accelerate sales cycles.
  • Effectively advise and influence customers through consultative selling techniques and relevant marketing campaigns.
  • Analyse creation of solution offer and proposal development to ensure it promotes value based pricing.

    The Candidate:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience of selling software-orientated products to system integrators who in turn are dealing with clients operating in a range of industry sectors.
  • Exceptional relationship management skills at the ‘c’ level.
  • Able to demonstrate success in developing new sales opportunities working with colleagues in developing existing product capability.
  • First class planning skills alongside the ability to hunt out opportunities and close deals.
