Our client is part of an international group. An established presence in the sectors in which it operates, customers need reliability in and expect flexibility from the company’s range of products.

Service is key, and this applies from installation through to ongoing maintenance & support.

Reporting to the Managing Director, this is a key role in the European HQ. Working within a matrix structure, it carries responsibility for ensuring consistency in approach on all commercial activities, working with Country Leaders and their functional teams.    

The Role

  • Evaluate the existing commercial structure to ensure resources are deployed in a manner that optimises effectiveness.
  • Aim for double digit growth in order intake and 5% organic growth.
  • Develop recurring monthly revenue opportunities: rental model, service sales.
  • Aim for single digit customer attrition.
  • Devise common cross-border sales incentive plans
  • Improve sales force productivity through Activity Based Management
  • Maximise the sales process benefits through effective development of the CRM system (Salesforce)

    The Candidate

  • Minimum 10 years experience in a commercial leadership role where turnover is a minimum of $250m.
  • If your current or recent (no more than 5 years) experience is not with a business that installs and services equipment that has recurring revenues then please do not apply
  • Able to demonstrate a successful track record of budget management, process improvement.
  • Prepared to challenge the status quo.
  • High level of personal gravitas, can communicate effectively at all levels.
